Job description Network Administration: Installation and Configuration: Setting up and configuring network hardware like routers, switches, and firewalls, as well as network software and operating systems. Monitoring and Maintenance: Continuously monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving issues, and ensuring optimal uptime. Security Management: Implementing and maintaining network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and user access controls. Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving network connectivity problems, hardware malfunctions, and software issues. User Support: Providing technical assistance to users regarding network access, email, and other network-related services. Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation for network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Server Administration: Server Management: Installing, configuring, and maintaining server hardware and operating systems. Performance Optimization: Monitoring server performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to improve efficiency. Security: Implementing and maintaining server security measures, including access controls, patching, and virus protection. Backups and Recovery: Implementing and managing backup and recovery procedures to protect data from loss or corruption. User and Group Management: Creating, managing, and deleting user accounts and groups, and assigning appropriate permissions.
