Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain secure network solutions to defend against cyber threats.

• Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and other security appliances.

• Monitor network traffic and system logs to detect potential threats and anomalies.

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.

• Respond to and investigate security incidents, breaches, and other cyber risks.

• Ensure compliance with internal and external security regulations and policies.

• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security best practices into infrastructure and applications.

• Maintain and update documentation related to network security architecture, standards, and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

• 8-14 years of experience in network or cyber security.

• Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint security.

• Hands-on experience with tools like Wireshark, Nessus, Splunk, or similar.

• Familiarity with frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).

• Relevant certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, or equivalent.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
