Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure. You will play a critical role in protecting the organization's data, systems, and networks from internal and external threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage secure network solutions (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, etc.).

• Monitor networks and systems for security breaches, threats, and anomalies.

• Respond to security incidents and conduct root cause analysis.

• Maintain and enforce security policies, procedures, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS).

• Configure and manage firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet), switches, routers, and NAC systems.

• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and compliance teams to secure networked infrastructure.

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.

• Stay current on the latest cyber threats and trends, recommending improvements as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 37 years of experience in network security engineering or related field.

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.

• Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM tools.

• Hands-on experience with tools such as Wireshark, Nessus, Nmap, and Splunk.

• Knowledge of security frameworks like CIS, NIST, or ISO 27001.

• Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CCNP Security, or CompTIA Security+ are preferred.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
