Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Network Security L2 Engineer for our Pune office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and supporting enterprise-level network security infrastructure while ensuring compliance with industry security standards. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and manage firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other network security devices. Perform Level-2 troubleshooting for security incidents, alerts, and network-related issues. Analyze threat intelligence and take appropriate action on security alerts and vulnerabilities. Work on firewall rule changes, policy configuration, and access control reviews. Coordinate with L1 team for escalated issues and provide root cause analysis. Apply security patches and updates to security infrastructure devices. Maintain documentation related to network configurations and incident reports. Participate in audits and ensure adherence to security compliance standards (ISO, PCI-DSS, etc.). Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in network security operations or a similar role. Hands-on experience with firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco ASA, etc.). Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols. Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight). Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, etc.) is a plus. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
