Job Description

As a Network Manager - IT Infrastructure at one of Weekday's clients, you will be responsible for leading and supporting network infrastructure operations to ensure 24x7 availability and optimal performance. With 9 to 12 years of experience in managing enterprise-level network operations, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting network-related issues, designing and implementing network solutions, and monitoring network traffic patterns to address vulnerabilities and security risks proactively. Your key responsibilities will include driving both small and large-scale network projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business and client requirements, ensuring compliance with IT security standards and policies, and providing regular updates to senior management on network health, incidents, and project statuses. Your proactive approach to infrastructure optimization and hands-on leadership style will guide the team through daily operations and complex projects effectively. To excel in this role, you should have a strong technical foundation in networking technologies such as Firewalls, VPN, Proxy, Wireless, Switching, Load Balancers, SDN, DNAC, and WAF. Your expertise in routing protocols like BGP and OSPF, along with a solid understanding of network-related security, compliance, and audit procedures, will be essential. Additionally, your knowledge of Windows/Linux environments, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Cisco systems, as well as exposure to cloud and virtualization network architecture, will be beneficial. Your problem-solving skills, experience in root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions will be valuable in ensuring network operations governance. Strong communication and documentation skills are required to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Experience in capacity planning, performance tuning, and vendor/partner management will further contribute to your success in this role.
