Greetings from HRC Global Services! We have an exciting opportunity with our client for a Network Engineer L2 position based in Bengaluru. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for providing customer-specific designated support at the network level to troubleshoot and resolve networking problems. A strong technical knowledge in Data Center Nexus Routing & Switching is mandatory for this role. The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on skills in Cisco Nexus Technologies such as vPC, vDC, STP, vRF, BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF. Additionally, good knowledge of Cisco ACI Technologies including Tenants, EPGs, BDs, and vRFs is required. Experience working with product lines like Nexus 9000 switches is highly preferred. Candidates should be comfortable using tools like Solarwind and Cisco DCNM (desired) and should have the ability to handle complex troubleshooting in a data center ACI environment. A good understanding of overall data center infrastructure including LAN, WAN, Server, and Firewall is essential for this role. Key responsibilities include dedicatedly monitoring and reviewing the network, collaborating with multi-functional teams to resolve major customer issues, and providing high-level technical assistance and troubleshooting for critical production issues. The successful candidate should be able to respond to network management system alarms according to established processes and should have the flexibility to work in a 24x7 environment when required.
