Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitoring and Managing - Handling the daily operations to ensure that the network and
infrastructure are up & running and providing a high degree of reliability and availability.
2. Network & Security Device Administration – Managing Network and Security devices such
as Firewalls, Routers. Troubleshooting LAN and WAN, installation and integration of
networking equipment’s.
3. Technology Evaluation - Assessing system capabilities, identifying limitations, evaluating
and recommending hardware / software solution to meet business needs.
4. Policy Management - Implementing network security policies & information security
guidelines based on industry best practices
5. Network Planning - Designing specifications of routers, switches, firewalls and other
network / network security equipment’s for procurement purpose as per the organization’s
requirement & procurement of network and security devices including sizing, preparing the
request for proposal, attending pre-bid queries.
6. O&M - Managing operations and maintenance of primary and secondary data center,
ensuring process of building management system, back-up systems, and physical security
taking place smoothly. Ensuring the 24 X 7 connectivity of head office with off-site locations
through MPLS.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
1. Knowledge about preparation of Presentations, Policies, procedures, award applications
and response to audit findings etc.
2. Knowledge required of network & security technologies like OSPF, BGP, MPLS, EIGRP, VPN,
Access Lists, NAT, Firewalls, Media gateway, Load balancers, CISCO Nexus, CISCO ASR,
Policies installation, STP, VTP, HSRP, VRRP, VCP, Port Channels.
3. Hands on experience on multi-vendor routers & switches (CISCO, Juniper, Brocade, HP).
4. Should have knowledge of Data Centre design, architecture and implementation.
5. Candidate should be minimum 4 year relevant experience in Data Centre Network
6. Candidate must be CCNA and CCNP Certified.
