Job Description
What the role entails. Own & drive sales targets as per the business plans with accurate forecast/build-up & implementation of of pipeline, disbursals, AUM growth, revenue & profitability. Run daily sales cadence & put in place robust forecasting framework. Guide the sales teams (lead by example) in how to expand open market sourcing & new customer acquisition. Ensure heterogeneity & predictability of demand pipeline by diversifying sales channels (new affiliates & offline DSA signups). Ensure optimal & capable headcount with redundancies/backup to meet targets. Manage attrition & create a good employer brand at the ground level. Keep sales teams motivated through required performance structures (drive high performance culture) & R&R. Keep close watch on competitive landscape & offerings. Constantly redefine customer value proposition & rebuttal handling & communicate the same to the sales teams. Meet unhappy & happy customers across cities on a monthly basis & also do sales in-person. Set-up & evolve incentives for employees & partners to optimise for performance & LTV:CAC. Who is this person Through & through a solid field sales professional with default setting of driving business from the field with the team (not sitting in office). 12 - 15 years of total experience in consumer lending or field sales led organisations. Should have spent 5-7 years as an individual contributor i.e. handled direct B2C sales. Should have direct & credible experience in building from scratch a growing mouth of funnel/demand pipeline. Should have hired, scaled & led field sales teams selling direct to consumer loan/credit products. Last monthly sales should be 300 cr plus & AUM of 2000 cr plus. Someone who built distribution & channels ground up to scale business & didnt just run & grow what was inherited aka existing business. Good analytical skills & sharp with numbers. Should have grown/promoted in the same organisation/s. Stable; not too many short stints. Excellent appraisal history as a top performer for last 3 - 5 years. Preference for credible experience in TN and/or KK, AP, TL, KER. Graduate or postgraduate with preference from good colleges.,
