MULTI SKILL TECHNICIAN

KNOWLEDGE

Minimum Qualifications

Electronics & Audio-Visual Engineering Certificate / similar diploma in the same field

Professional Certifications

NEBOSH advantageous but not necessary

Language Skills

Written and Spoken English, Arabic spoken advantageous but not necessary

EXPERIENCE

Years of Experience

Minimum 5 years in the leisure and attraction industry (preferrable in theme park / FEC industry)

Experience in Dark ride / virtual reality / Arcade & video games activities is advantageous

Training

Electronics on video games / system synchronization / video projection

Work at Height advantageous but not necessary

Train the Trainer

IPAF (mobile elevated working platform license) advantageous but not necessary

PASMA (mobile scaffold erection license) advantageous but not necessary

Nature of

Experience

Familiar with the ride EN13814 and/or ASTM F24 standards, to include Dark ride; virtual reality; arcade and video games; etc. falling under SASO regulator.

Familiar with SASO Technical regulations for Amusement Parks Games & Devices, advantageous but not necessary.

Technical experience within the leisure and attraction industry, including Electronics troubleshooting; schematics circuit diagram; PLC or automated control system.

Proven track record in day-to-day maintenance of Theme Park/FEC equipments devices &/or Dark ride, arcades machine, VR system.

along with supporting the certification/recertification process.

Detailed knowledge in safety requirement and annual certification (TUV certification, evacuation, LOTO, etc).

Ride vendors: Mack, Triotech, Brogen, ETF, HUSS, ASI arcade / Warehouse of games;

All candidates must have previous experience in Amusement Parks or Entertainment Industry.

Candidates worked in companies like Ferrari world, Warner Bros, Motiongate, Yas waterworld, Lusail wonderland etc. preferred.
