The job involves leading and managing all technical aspects related to airport operations, such as airfield ground lighting, navigational aids, baggage handling systems, and security systems. You will oversee the design, development, installation, and maintenance of airport infrastructure and systems, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards. Providing technical expertise and guidance to the engineering team is a key responsibility. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement is essential. Regular inspections, audits, and performance evaluations will be conducted to identify areas for enhancement. Participation in the planning and execution of airport expansion and modernization projects is required. Staying updated with the latest technological advancements and best practices in the airports industry is crucial.
