Role - MSSQL DBAResponsibilities8+ years of experience in MS SQL Server Database Administration and Implementation(in OLTP, Web based, Production and Development environments) including Installations and Upgrades.Always On configuration & management for SQL server databasesProficiency with performance optimization /tuning.Good experience using DMV, Query StoreExperience in installing Service Packs for SQL Server Upgraded and migrated several servers and databases from lower version of SQL server to higher versionsExperienced in Configuring, Implementing and Maintaining Database Mirroring in high-performance or high-safety mode Good Knowledge in implementing different Replication Models (Snapshot, Merge and Transactional) with different topologies Experience with SQL ReplicationHighly experienced in Configuration, Implementation and Maintenance of Log ShippingManage and maintain database changes in Development, QA, Staging and Production Expert in Database Design activities including Data Files and File group organization, Capacity Planning Expertise in migrating servers using in place and side by side upgrade Good knowledge of Windows OS , Virtualization , Storage and Networking Experience in Patch and release managementDevelop and maintain system documentation Strong communication skills and should have ability to work independently.
