With 6+ years of experience in in-house research teams or relevant work settings, you will utilize a diverse range of research methods such as contextual enquiry, thematic analysis, ethnography, and usability tests to understand user needs and behaviors comprehensively. Your key responsibilities will include leading initiatives to enhance user experience, collaborating with the UX team to embed an evidence-based perspective into strategic decisions, and ensuring research insights are integrated into design solutions. Additionally, you will oversee UX research processes, implement best practices for collaboration, and facilitate knowledge sharing across touchpoints to shape the UX strategy in alignment with organizational goals. To excel in this role, you should possess excellent communication and analytical skills, experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. A rigorous approach to documentation and organization, familiarity with agile processes, and proficiency in tools such as Pendo, User Testing, Hotjar, and Jira are essential. Moreover, staying updated on industry trends and advocating for research and design excellence will be crucial to keep the organization at the forefront of user experience.
