As a Mobile Test Engineer with 5+ years of experience, you will be responsible for testing mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms. Your expertise in manual and automation testing, including automated test execution and analysis of test failures, will be essential for this role. Experience in tools like Appium, C# or Python, CI/CD, and maintaining automation test frameworks is highly desirable. Your contribution to the test strategy and process will involve formulating test strategies using QA best practices and methodologies. You will stay updated with industry best practices, collect metrics to identify quality issues, and drive process and product excellence using these metrics. In the requirement gathering, test development, execution, and reporting phase, you will collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements, participate in reviews, define test cases and scripts, and execute relevant tests based on the latest code changes. Experience in test management tools like Azure DevOps and creating detailed test reports will be crucial. Your role will also involve defect management and debugging, where you will utilize tools like Android Debug Bridge (ADB) to log defects, investigate system failures, and provide precise information for issue resolution. Collaborating with key stakeholders, designing testing strategies with developers, and adhering to test schedules will be part of your responsibilities. Maintaining test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports, as well as generating detailed test reports for various configurations with each release cycle, will be essential. Additionally, your soft skills such as the zeal to explore domain and technology knowledge, being self-driven, and committed to quality will be valuable in this role. Experience in API testing and Web/Mobile tools is considered optional for this position.,
