Job Description
You should have at least 3 years of experience in testing mobile (Android and iOS) and web applications. Additionally, you must have 2+ years of experience in Mobile Functional Automation Testing using Appium and another 2+ years of experience in Web Application testing. It is essential to have experience in AWS Device Farm or Google Firebase or an equivalent platform. You should possess a strong understanding of the Software Development/Testing Life Cycle (SDLC/STLC) and be proficient in performing usability and compatibility testing for various devices and browsers. Familiarity with JIRA, Rally, or any bug tracking system is required, along with knowledge and practical experience with Agile methodologies for software testing. A positive, enthusiastic attitude with a desire to learn in a dynamic environment is crucial, along with being self-directed and self-motivated. Excellent analytical skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills, are necessary. You should also be willing to learn new technologies and tools. Desired skills include experience in TestRail, Compatibility Testing & Performance Testing, as well as experience in Selenium for automation testing. Experience in performance, installation, and interruption testing is a plus. Knowledge of Jira and Confluence is also desirable. As for the job responsibilities, you will be responsible for taking a planned, self-directed approach to authoring automated test scripts for mobile and web applications. You will need to investigate problems, find root causes, document findings clearly, and advocate on behalf of the end user. Raising usability and performance concerns and proposing solutions to problems after performing scenario-based testing, considering the needs of clients is part of the role. Creating and maintaining quality system documents and artefacts, contributing to the improvement of manual and automated testing processes, and performing any QA/testing related tasks as assigned by a supervisor are also key responsibilities.,
