As a Rho Mobile Developer at Johnson Controls, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications using RhoMobile Suite. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and implement best practices in mobile development. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will participate in the full application development lifecycle, ensuring applications are robust, secure, and performant. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using RhoMobile technology. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Implement best practices in mobile development, including code reviews and testing. - Participate in the full application development lifecycle, from concept through delivery and support. - Ensure applications are robust, secure, and performant. - Stay current with emerging mobile technologies and propose improvements to existing applications. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. - 7 to 10 years of experience in mobile application development, with a strong focus on RhoMobile. - Proficiency in Ruby, JavaScript, and relevant mobile frameworks. - Experience with RESTful web services and API integration. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
