Job Title: Mixed Farmer (Agriculture & Animal Farming)
Office Location: Pune.
Employment Type: Full-Time.
Reporting To: Farm Manager / Owner / Agricultural Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Mixed Farmer to manage and carry out day-to-day operations involving both crop cultivation and livestock rearing. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in sustainable farming techniques and animal care practices to ensure maximum productivity and farm health.

Key Responsibilities:
Crop Farming Duties:
Prepare land for sowing and planting seasonal crops.
Operate and maintain farming equipment (tractors, plows, harvesters).
Irrigate, fertilize, weed, and protect crops from pests/diseases.
Monitor crop growth and perform timely harvesting.
Maintain records of planting schedules, yields, and treatments.
Animal Husbandry Duties:
Feed, water, and care for farm animals (e.g., cows, goats, poultry).
Monitor animal health and report any signs of illness or injury.
Clean and maintain animal shelters/stalls.
Assist with breeding, calving, and veterinary care as needed.
Maintain feed and health records for livestock.

Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in both crop farming and animal rearing (25 years preferred).
Knowledge of seasonal farming cycles, fertilizers, and pest control.
Basic understanding of animal nutrition, disease control, and livestock management.
Ability to operate and maintain farm machinery and tools.
Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Strong observation, time management, and organizational skills.

Educational Requirements (Optional/Preferred):
Diploma or degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or related field (preferred).
Certification in organic or sustainable farming (added advantage).
