Iera Living is a leading buying agency in India, connecting global brands and retailers with quality manufacturers throughout the country. We are now looking for a Senior Merchandiser with a focus on hard goods production and product development to join our dynamic team Roles and Responsibilities: Product Development: Assist in the follow up of development of new textile products, including fabric selection, design, and sample approval. Coordinate with designers and production teams to ensure product specifications meet customer requirements. Supplier Coordination: Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and ensure timely procurement of materials. Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and source new suppliers as needed. Order Management: Process and manage customer orders, ensuring all details are accurate and deadlines are met. Ensure updated TNA is received from factories every week & track the progress of orders and update clients on the status. Quality Control: Ensure timeline for inspections are on track & coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely booking of vessel. Market Research Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and customer preferences. Provide insights and recommendations to improve product offerings and sales strategies. Monitoring and Reporting Prepare and maintain documentation related to orders, shipments, and invoices Generate reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and supplier performance. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, or a related field Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in & Home Textiles /bedding. Key Skills: Basic knowledge of textile materials, production process & quality standard. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite specifically Excel and familiar with ERP systems. Desirable Skills: Previous experience in textile merchandising or production Understanding Eager to learn on the job global textile markets & supply chain management Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting Eager to learn on the job.,
