Verify BOQ received from Design Department and ensure that all electrical materials are available as mentioned and report in case of any discrepancies. Prepare & place purchase requests of electrical materials with respective quantities as per the electrical layout and site requirement to the supervisor for placing order to purchase dept. Coordinate with purchase dept. for material delivery and oversee the correct usage of materials. Check electrical drawing, and execute electrical works as per the drawings and explain contractor the way to do the work. Supervise electrical work & coordinate with site engineers for site work and material delivery. Coordinate electrical work during the inauguration of new stores and carry out plans for electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems. Take final electrical measurements with contractor after completion of work to ensure compliance with companyand industry guidelines. Prepare electrical load details according to the drawing, finalize ups and DG capacity as per the load. Act as an electrical inspectorate of MGD project works & conduct liaising with KSEB department. Check electrical bills with rate and site certification. Responsible for electrical maintenance work at site by reviewing blueprints or technical diagrams. Troubleshoot electrical issues with the appropriate utilization of relevant testing devices. Perform joint measurement of work and verify contractors execution bills to oversee proper completion of work.
