Job Description

An MEP Engineer at the project site is responsible for overseeing the installation, execution, and commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems as per design specifications. The role ensures quality control, timely completion, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards during the construction phase. Key Responsibilities: Site Supervision: Monitor and inspect the installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems on-site. Quality Assurance: Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and standards. Coordination: Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and other site engineers to address technical issues and resolve conflicts. Progress Monitoring: Track project timelines, report delays, and ensure milestones are met. Testing and Commissioning: Conduct or oversee system tests and commissioning to ensure proper functionality. Safety Compliance: Enforce adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site. Documentation: Maintain records of daily activities, progress reports, and any changes to project plans. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree/ DIPLOMA in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline. Hands-on experience with on-site MEP systems installation and supervision. Familiarity with project management tools and construction practices. Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Knowledge of safety standards and regulations. Work Environment: The role is primarily based on construction sites and may require extended hours to meet project deadlines. Frequent collaboration with various teams and contractors is essential.
