As a Senior Quality Engineer in our dynamic software engineering team based in Bengaluru, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our cutting-edge web applications and services. Collaborating closely with our Front End and Backend Engineers, you will drive quality initiatives throughout the software development lifecycle, from initial design to final deployment. Your responsibilities will include defining quality strategies and test plans, developing and maintaining automated test suites, conducting performance and scalability testing, leading various types of testing activities, managing defects, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, mentoring other engineers, troubleshooting technical issues, researching new testing tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to quality assurance. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, at least 5 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation, expertise in frontend and backend testing frameworks, proficiency in web technologies, familiarity with AI code generation, strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and experience working in Agile environments. Preferred qualifications include experience with performance testing tools, cloud platforms, containerization technologies, CI/CD pipelines, database testing, security testing principles, micro-frontend architectures, and AI systems and tools.
