Job Description

As a Senior Medical Advisor based in Mumbai G.P.O., Maharashtra, you will play a crucial role in leading efforts to establish strong relationships with a wide network of treatment centers, hospitals, chains, and clinical practitioners across the country. Your responsibilities will include identifying and personally establishing partnerships with key opinion leaders, influencers, and senior practitioners in the public and private oncology space. You will leverage these relationships to achieve medium-term revenue targets and develop hospital-specific strategies. Additionally, you will lead commercial negotiations with hospital chains when necessary and utilize clinical and scientific data to ensure effective communication strategies with key stakeholders. In this role, you will be tasked with strategizing and executing various sales and marketing efforts, such as CMEs, RTMs, peer-to-peer connects, webinars, and other engagement plans in coordination with central HQ-based teams. You will also support close coordination with external and internal stakeholders to facilitate operational handovers, streamlined services for patients, and product education for clinicians. Your inputs will be valuable for marketing communications, branding, product brochures, and supporting successful marketing campaigns, lead generations, and brand promotion initiatives. Key expectations for this role include extensive travel across your region to engage with clinicians, key opinion leaders, and relevant stakeholders regularly. You will attend conferences, industry congresses, and represent the client at regional and national forums. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality presentations independently to support the communication strategy and staying updated on the latest knowledge in CAR-T and CGT for effective communication. To excel in this position, you should have a proven track record as a field representative in marketing and business development within the oncology domain. The ideal candidate will have 7-15 years of experience, with a minimum of 6 years in a related field, and a strong scientific background in oncology, preferably with some understanding of immunotherapy. A current network of hospital administrators in India and a minimum graduation in a related field (B Pharma/Graduation in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, etc.) are required. A post-graduation in Pharmacology or MBA is preferred, and an MBBS degree would be advantageous.
