Job Description
y Responsibilities: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, motors, conveyors, compressors, gearboxes). Diagnose mechanical faults and perform corrective actions to repair or replace defective components. Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies to minimize production interruptions. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Collaborate with electrical and instrumentation teams during maintenance activities. Assist in equipment installation and commissioning as needed. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Recommend improvements to equipment or maintenance practices to enhance reliability. Qualifications: Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering or related field. [2-5]+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance (preferably in a [manufacturing/industrial/processing] environment).
