Job Description
Mechanical Fitter Key Responsibilities: Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals. Fit and align components, machinery, and parts. Perform inspections and troubleshooting to ensure proper operation. Conduct maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems. Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Work with engineers and other team members on installations and modifications. Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or apprenticeship preferred. Proven experience as a mechanical fitter or in a similar role. Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components. Proficiency in using tools and equipment for fitting and maintenance. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
