Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mechanical Engineer Sales and Service to contribute to steel plant operations. Your responsibilities will involve ensuring the seamless operation of mechanical equipment in various plant sections, including Cold Rolling Mill Complex, furnaces, and Hot Rolling Mill. Your key responsibilities will include performing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of mechanical equipment utilized in steel manufacturing, developing and nurturing relationships with both new and existing clients, understanding customer requirements to recommend appropriate mechanical products and solutions, conducting product demonstrations and training sessions for clients, collaborating with internal engineering and product teams for tailored solutions, preparing and submitting quotations, proposals, and technical documentation, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues at customer sites, performing maintenance, repair, and testing of mechanical equipment as necessary, ensuring customer satisfaction through prompt after-sales service, staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities, and being willing to travel nationally. Qualifications and Skills: - Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering - Proven experience in technical sales, customer service, or field support roles - Strong understanding of the Steel Industry, specifically in Cold Rolling Complex and Hot Rolling Mill - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills - Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently - Willingness to travel to client sites as needed - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively Preferred Skills: - Experience in industries like steel and manufacturing - Certification in relevant industry standards is a plus Benefits: - Competitive salary with performance incentives - Opportunities for professional growth and development - Supportive and collaborative work environment This is a Full-time, Permanent position that requires in-person work location.,
