As a Design Engineer/Sr. Design Engineer in the Engineering department located at IMT Manesar, Gurgaon, you will be responsible for utilizing your BE/B.Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2-4 years of work experience in the Design/R&D domain to contribute effectively. Your role will require a strong knowledge of Mechanical engineering fundamentals and design material selection. Your experience in designing and developing Mechanical systems for industrial & military applications will be crucial. You will be expected to leverage your experience and good knowledge in SOLIDWORKS design, including sheet metal, weld simulation, and features. Additionally, proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or equivalent tools is essential for this role. Familiarity with MS Office tools is also necessary. Your key responsibilities will include the development of new products to meet customer satisfaction. This involves preparing 3D models, 2D drawings, manufacturing drawings, final assembly drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM). You will also play a vital role in selecting suitable materials and hardware based on demand, as well as collaborating with the Electrical design team as required. Furthermore, you will be responsible for guiding the Production team during prototype system assembly and aiding in the selection of new vendors for components. Your expertise and attention to detail will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of projects and the overall efficiency of the design process.,
