To excel in this role, you should have a Diploma in Mechanical Design Engineering or a related field, along with proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other related tools. Basic knowledge of 2D drafting, GD & T, mechanical assembly, and fabrication techniques is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities are also key requirements. Preferred qualifications include a good understanding of design, fabrication, assembly, documentation, and MS Excel, as well as knowledge of project management principles.
