Job Description

Position: Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Untva, Kadi. Work Timing: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM ( Monday to Saturday) CTC: 3.5 to 4.5 LPA Job Details: The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for designing of jigs, fixtures, moulds, validating mould designs, etc. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly work environment with a team that is passionate and creative. Roles & Responsibilities: Conceptualising, designing, and developing new mechanical devices or systems. This involves translating engineering requirements and benchmarking into detailed designs that meet functional, performance, and safety specifications. Knowledge of drawing standards & preparing component and assembly drawings Knowledge of various component manufacturing processes Should be able to deliver designs, concepts and drawings in the given timelines Developing and designing 2D and 3D models for jigs, fixtures, toy articles, moulds and other products Detail design of parts considering DFM (Design For Manufacturability), DFA (Design For Assembly, DFMEA (Design for Failure Mode Effect Analysis), Tolerance stack up analysis, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance) Utilising computer-aided design (CAD) software to create 3D models and 2D engineering drawings. Performing engineering calculations Selecting materials that are strong, lightweight, cost-effective, and meet application requirements. Collaborating with a cross-functional team of engineers, manufacturing specialists, and other stakeholders to bring your designs from concept to reality. Participating in prototyping and testing phases to evaluate design functionality, performance, and manufacturability. Staying up-to-date on the latest mechanical engineering technologies such as 3D printing, robotics, and advanced materials. Should be able to communicate to customers directly after Initial training & connect Qualification and skill set: Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering Thorough knowledge of MS Office, 3D modelling software 3+ years" experience in a similar field Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and solve problems effectively Languages: Gujarati, Hindi & English If interested & your profile matches with requirement, please share your updated resume with details of your present salary, expectations & notice period.,
