Job Description
The main purpose of the role is to implement a marketing and sales strategy for one or more of the organization's complex, controversial, or strategically significant products/services to achieve established sales or market share targets. Responsibilities include conducting market research, overseeing product development and design, setting prices, launching new products, managing advertising campaigns, and monitoring sales performance for effectively marketing assigned products/services. Additionally, monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating domestic and international market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify market opportunities. Identifying product/service changes to meet customer needs and liaising with other areas of the organization to implement these changes. Preparing sales forecasts and budgets, monitoring sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts, and adapting plans to improve the sales performance of the product/service. Collaborating with advertising and promotions specialists to design sales campaigns and collateral that are effective and appropriate for the target audience.
