You are an experienced professional with over 10 years of experience in marketing roles within the OTC/FMCG/pharmaceutical industry. You hold a B Pharma degree along with an MBA in Marketing. Your expertise lies in the therapy/department of rural distribution sales with a preference for the OTC/FMCG/pharmaceutical industry. The job is based in Sun House, Mumbai. As the Marketing Head, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement strategic below-the-line (BTL) marketing plans for major and focus brands designated to the retail team. You must possess a profound understanding of the Retail/Chemists/GT/MT/E-com ecosystem, as well as insights into HCP/consumer/stakeholder behaviors. Your role demands expertise in point-of-sales activation, Rx demand generation strategies, campaign management, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external agencies. A successful candidate should demonstrate a proven track record in OTC/pharmaceutical marketing, exceptional communication skills, and a mindset geared towards growth. Experience in scaling up from zero to 10X will be considered an advantage. Your key responsibilities include developing and executing strategic marketing plans for assigned brands to align with the objective of expanding market share for Sun Brands. You will drive growth for major and focus Rx brands at the point of sale in chemist outlets and lead the detailing of Rx brands at the chemist level. Engaging and garnering support from chemists with the assistance of trade marketing and other stakeholders will be crucial. Furthermore, you will translate insights from retail/chemists/HCP/consumer/stakeholders into impactful marketing campaigns and initiatives. Collaboration with internal teams and external agencies is essential for developing and implementing impactful marketing campaigns across various channels such as Retail, Chemists, and Hospitals. Monitoring and measuring campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to optimize results, and aligning field-level activities with sales strategies and goals in coordination with the sales teams are integral parts of your role. You will analyze marketing performance data to derive insights for optimizing future marketing initiatives. Additionally, working with business development teams to formulate business cases for upcoming products and initiatives is vital. Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics is critical for strategic decision-making. Building and nurturing strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, including internal teams, external agencies, key chemists, retailers, and other relevant parties, will be necessary for success. Cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Sales, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory is essential to ensure effective progress and alignment with overall business objectives.,
