Job Description

As a member of Babcock Power, a global leader in providing innovative steam generation and energy-related products and services to the power generation and processing industries, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic planning and market analysis within the APAC Market segment. Your responsibilities will include gathering and analyzing information on industry/market trends, leading the strategic planning process, and developing industry/market analysis reports. You will be tasked with designing and conducting research projects to address specific business problems, ensuring alignment of corporate and business segment strategies, and proposing new organic growth initiatives to advance strategic priorities. Your role will also involve managing the implementation of strategic initiatives, tracking progress against key milestones, and updating business segment and corporate management on a regular basis. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or a relevant engineering discipline, with an MBA preferred. Experience in Business Development, Strategic Planning, Strategy Consulting, Equity Research, or Market Research is desirable, particularly in industries such as Power, Petrochemicals, Industrial Equipment, or Oil & Gas. Proficiency in MS Office applications and strong financial modeling skills are essential for this position. This full-time role based in Chennai, India, will require frequent travel of up to 50%.
