Job Description
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Inventory Management: Overseeing the inventory levels, ensuring that stock is maintained at optimal levels to meet demand without overstocking or understocking. Procurement: Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials and products. This includes negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring quality standards are met. Logistics and Distribution: Managing the logistics of receiving, storing, and distributing goods. This includes coordinating with transportation providers and ensuring efficient and cost-effective distribution. Warehouse Management: Overseeing the operations of the warehouse, including layout planning, storage methods, and ensuring safety and security of the stored items. Team Management: Leading and managing the store staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyzing inventory data and generating reports to inform decision-making. This includes tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and using data to improve efficiency. Budget Management: Managing the budget for the stores department, including forecasting costs and monitoring expenditures. Compliance and Safety: Ensuring that all operations comply with relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety guidelines. Customer Service: Ensuring that internal and external customers receive high-quality service, including timely and accurate fulfillment of orders. Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
