Job Description
You have a postgraduate degree in Biostatistics and possess 5-8 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required to effectively carry out the key responsibilities of the job. Your expertise includes leading statistical activities in clinical research, particularly in pharmaceutical research or CRO settings. You are proficient in one or more statistical software packages, with a preference for SAS, for conducting statistical analyses. In this role, you will provide biostatistical consultation to clients and colleagues, formulate statistical objectives, experimental designs, and statistical analyses for research projects. Your responsibilities also include providing advanced statistical consulting and training to the team, writing programming for advanced statistical analyses, and acting as the Point of Contact for all Stats related activities within the organization. You will be responsible for preparing statistical data for reports to data monitoring committees, federal regulatory agencies, managers, or clients. Additionally, you will prepare articles for publication or presentation at professional conferences, calculate sample size requirements for clinical studies, and write detailed analysis plans and descriptions of analyses and findings for research protocols or reports. As part of your role, you will prepare tables and graphs to present clinical data or results, draw conclusions or make predictions based on data summaries or statistical analyses, and act as the Unblinded statistician for the randomization schedules. You will also review clinical or other medical research protocols and recommend appropriate statistical analyses, provide statistical conclusions, and generate statistical reports for CSR. Your communication skills, both verbal and written, are excellent, and you demonstrate the ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs effectively. You have the capability to successfully lead a single project and showcase strong leadership skills in the domain of biostatistics.,
