This position will be responsible for the management of the fleet of car carrier trailers used by APLL VASCOR for first and last mile operations. Fleet Operations Optimization so as to ensure best turnround and asset productivity Sourcing additional car carrier trailers to meet sustained demand Sourcing fleet from Transport Providers to tide over peak demand periods Fleet maintenance Sourcing of drivers and their management Vendor sourcing for fleet management ( if required ) . Education Bachelors degree . Experiences 8 or more years of hands on road -related logistics industry experience in India, preferably in an Automotive Transport Co Knowledge of road ops - policies, operational challenges Experience in running an operations, with team members of more than 20 people Understand has experiences as users of IT systems Skill Sets Able to understand technicalities of trucks , hydraulic systems and maintenance People management leadership skill, motivates and direct resources, within the organization and external to the organization Resourcefulness to get things done, including identifying stop gaps to solve crisis/challenges Strong grasp of financial impact of ops We have an open position for in Gurgaon for APL Logistics Vascor Pvt. Ltd and are looking for candidates between 7- 14 years of experience in Road Transportation (Preferable Finished vehicles) with Fleet Management, Driver Management, Driver Training and vehicle maintenance as a key result areas and should have managed a fleet of more than 100 vehicles. Our budget for the role is between 8 14 lacs and we can look at either AM/ Manager Level depending on experience and Fitment. Looking for persons working in Transportation companies (OWN Fleet) not those who SOURCE road transport from transporters.,
