Job Description
As a Manager Production, you will be responsible for overseeing the Manufacturing & Packing activities in the department to ensure they are carried out as per plan. You will need to identify and communicate incidents, QEHS non-conformities, investigate them, and take corrective actions when necessary. It is essential to ensure that the work permit system is followed during maintenance activities and to implement QEHS continual improvement projects at the site. Your role will also involve ensuring worker participation and consultation, proper disposal of waste, and maintaining the area and equipment. In this position, you will play a key role in making production plans based on delivery schedules, checking for deviations and initiating change controls as needed. Root cause analysis of identified problems, incident reporting to Human Resources and safety departments, and ensuring raw and packing material availability in SAP are also part of your responsibilities. You will be authorized to investigate workplace incidents, near misses, and accidents, report hazards, incidents, and near misses, and prepare and review OH&S performance documents. Your duties will include planning manpower requirements, ensuring proper utilization of resources for higher productivity, imparting training to colleagues/subordinates, and maintaining quality by proper segregation of material and cleanliness. Additionally, you will be responsible for improving product quality and productivity, following Good Manufacturing Practices, compliance with safety measures, and preparing/reviewing BMR, BPR, and SOP documents. Coordinating with various departments for smooth operations, raising change controls, deviations, and CAPA, ensuring preventive maintenance of machines, preparing monthly plans, and monitoring cycle time are also part of your role. You will need to manage validations and calibrations, ensure compliance with audits, investigate market complaints, and coordinate with relevant departments for validation and calibration of instruments and machines. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing QEHS policy & objectives, ensuring PPE use, and compliance with Safety Measures and ISO standards. In the absence of L-Block and N-Block Managers, you will be required to monitor the activities of those departments.
