Job Description

Requirements: Bachelors or master in logistics, business administration supply chain management. Min. 8-9 yrs. of experience working in Logistics with a comprehensive knowledge of logistics processes and procedures. Ability to handle multiple projects independently. Roles & Responsibilities Responsible for Planning, coordinating, and monitoring logistics operations such as warehousing, inventory, transportation, and supply chain processes. Liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation and logistics providers Select carriers/suppliers and monitor service against performance criteria Comply with the regulations, laws. Meet costs, timeliness targets accurately Resolve all complaints or issues our customers or vendors face on time Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies and cost optimisation opportunities Identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies and ensure inventory and system records are in agreement Ensure metrics, reports, and process documentation is available Manage and develop a high performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements. Skill Requirements and experience: Should have strong organizational and leadership skills. Strong team player, Self starter and able to motivate others. Exceptional organizational and analytical skills Develop and maintain strong relationships with all connected with the logistics process. Is resilient, optimistic and open to change Highly skilled communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally.
