Job Description
Responsibilities 1. IT Infrastructure Management Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot network systems (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls). Manage server infrastructure, data storage, and backups (on-premise or cloud). Ensure system uptime and performance across offices and remote teams. 2. User Support & Helpdesk Provide technical support for employees" hardware, software, and peripherals. Handle onboarding/offboarding of employees with system access and provisioning. Maintain ticketing system for issue tracking and resolution. 3. Application & Software Management Deploy, configure, and maintain industry-specific tools like: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, BIM tools (for design teams) Project management tools (e.g., Asana, MS Project, Trello) Collaboration platforms (MS Teams, Slack, Zoom, Miro) Manage license procurement and renewals for software. 4. Cybersecurity & Compliance Implement and monitor endpoint security, antivirus, and encryption solutions. Conduct regular data backups and ensure disaster recovery readiness. Maintain compliance with IT policies, especially for client confidentiality and data protection (important when dealing with large corporate clients). 5. Cloud Services & Collaboration Tools Administer cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or Autodesk Cloud. Integrate systems for cross-functional collaboration across design, procurement, and project execution teams. 6. Vendor & Asset Management Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers for hardware/software procurement. Maintain IT asset inventory and lifecycle management. 7. Digital Transformation & Automation Work with internal stakeholders to identify process inefficiencies and propose IT-enabled solutions. Implement automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Power Automate) to streamline workflows. 8. Support for Remote and Hybrid Work Ensure smooth functioning of remote access, secure logins, and cloud-based resource availability. Setup and support video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and collaborative project tools. 9. Additional Responsibilities Participate in IT budgeting and strategy planning. Lead IT audits and drive initiatives for digital innovation in workspace tech (e.g., smart offices, IoT-based sensors). Support BIM data management and integration with project management dashboards.,
