Job Description
You will be responsible for independently managing the procurement of intermediates, solvent chemicals, and APIs in the Purchase department. Your role will involve sourcing and negotiating with vendors, developing procurement plans aligned with production forecasts, tracking supplier performance, and ensuring quality and timelines are met. Additionally, you will be expected to handle cost optimization while maintaining material quality standards and coordinate with QA/QC, R&D, and production departments. To excel in this role, you should possess strong vendor management skills, a deep understanding of pharma raw materials, and the ability to effectively coordinate across different departments. As a Manager, you will need to have at least 7-10 years of hands-on experience in pharma/intermediate procurement and a graduate degree in any stream, with a preference for Science or Commerce. Knowledge of chemical market trends, import/export documentation, and familiarity with SAP or ERP systems would be advantageous.,
