Job Description
Role Title: R&D Formulation & Innovation Base Location: Bangalore Key Responsibilities: Conduct primary research and literature review on skincare, haircare, or cosmetic ingredients and technologies. Develop and test prototypes in-house or with third-party labs/manufacturers. Optimize formulations for efficacy, safety, stability, sensory experience, and cost. Conduct stability and compatibility testing, maintain formulation, consumes and clinical records. Evaluate supplier raw materials and new active ingredients with efficacy data. Work with cross-functional teams (design, marketing, procurement) from ideation to launch. Prepare product briefs, PIFs, and regulatory documentation. Track timelines, milestones, and assist in scale-up or pilot batch planning. Collaborate with vendors/CMOs on tech transfer and production readiness. Analyze consumer trends, social buzz, ingredient innovations, and competitor benchmarks. Pitch new product ideas with clear USPs and commercial logic.
