The Dangote Group is looking for a highly skilled Manager of Electrical/Electronics to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation, maintenance, and management of all electrical and electronic systems across our facilities. As the Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians while implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance productivity and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and electronics systems.
  • Develop maintenance plans and strategies to minimize system downtime while optimizing performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operations and improve processes.
  • Lead troubleshooting and problem-solving initiatives for complex electrical and electronic issues.
  • Monitor inventory of electrical components and materials to ensure availability for maintenance activities.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for electrical maintenance and projects.
  • Ensure proper documentation of maintenance procedures and compliance with industry standards.
  • Train and mentor staff on best practices and safety protocols.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and industry trends to introduce innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical/electronics engineering, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and electronics systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and tools, Microsoft Office, and SAP.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices, ISO standards, and TPM principles.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
