As the Manager EHS at Tenneco, a global leader in automotive products, you will play a crucial role in enhancing Environment Health & Safety practices at the Parwanoo, Himachal Pradesh site. With over 8 years of experience and a background in B.E/ Diploma Engineering, you will be responsible for developing and implementing long-term HES strategies to drive safety performance improvements. Your key strengths will include strategic planning to enhance safety, effective communication to ensure clear protocols, problem-solving abilities to maintain a safe work environment, and decision-making skills that prioritize safety and compliance. Attention to detail and conflict resolution will also be vital in this role. In this position, you will lead the creation and execution of the EHS-Management System, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory safety requirements. You will promote employee engagement in safety initiatives, conduct safety committee meetings, and foster a strong safety culture through active engagement and training. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting internal audits, maintaining EHS-IS systems, managing plant-level EHS audits, and overseeing incident reporting, investigation, and closure. Operational oversight, permit-to-work systems, contractor management, and health monitoring programs will also fall under your purview. Maintaining records in line with ISO-14001:2015 and ISO-45001:2018 standards, managing stakeholder communication, and aligning EHS targets with organizational objectives will be crucial aspects of your role. Your role will be instrumental in driving advancements in global mobility by delivering technology solutions for diversified markets while ensuring a safe and productive work environment for all team members.,
