Role Description We are looking for a Manager Data Science to lead a team of data scientists in developing machine learning models, optimizing lending strategies, and improving risk assessment frameworks. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, fintech experience, and expertise in statistical modeling and machine learning techniques. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of data scientists to solve complex business problems. Develop and optimize credit risk models, fraud detection algorithms, and customer segmentation strategies. Work closely with Product, Risk, and Business teams to drive data-driven decision-making. Implement machine learning algorithms (e.g., classification, regression, clustering, NLP) to enhance underwriting and lending decisions. Monitor model performance, retrain models, and improve predictive accuracy. Ensure compliance with RBI regulations and data privacy laws while handling customer data. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Data Science. Strong hands-on experience with Python, R, SQL, and ML libraries (Scikit-learn, XGBoost). Expertise in credit risk modeling, fraud detection, and predictive analytics. Experience with cloud-based ML model deployment and big data tools. Understanding of lending, credit scoring, and RBI regulatory frameworks is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions.
