You must possess an excellent knowledge of Indian GAAP with a working understanding of the differences between Indian GAAP and Ind AS. Your role will involve collaborating closely with the Partner to establish and nurture client relationships. It is essential that you can implement relevant accounting standards, conduct Ind AS engagements independently, and conduct research on intricate technical accounting matters. Your communication skills, both written and verbal, should be strong, enabling you to effectively engage with individuals at all levels within an organization and during Assurance Committee Meetings. Additionally, you must demonstrate adept leadership capabilities to interact with senior management and lead various meetings. Fostering a positive work culture, promoting teamwork, and embodying BDO values are crucial aspects of this role. Proven skills in supervision, coaching, delegation, technical expertise, team motivation, and managing multiple engagements are necessary. You should thrive in environments with tight deadlines and challenging client requirements. Your responsibilities may also include identifying compelling companies for pitching/ideation and preparing pitches to secure new mandates. Keeping yourself updated on the latest developments in the profession, business landscape, industry trends, and regulatory frameworks is paramount. A CA qualification is required for this position.,
