The ideal candidate will have solid experience in sourcing both domestically and internationally, particularly from China and other countries, and be familiar with purchasing R&D-related small quantity raw materials. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials required for API manufacturing. Develop and maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliers, especially in China and other sourcing hubs. Handle procurement of small quantity R&D-specific raw materials, ensuring timely availability. Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and quality. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery timelines, and price. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to procurement and import/export processes. Coordinate with the R&D and production departments to forecast procurement needs and manage inventory levels effectively. Prepare and maintain procurement reports, records, and documentation. Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and regulatory authorities for import processes. Identify potential suppliers, assess their capabilities, and initiate vendor development as required.
