Overview of Applications Team: The Applications Team at Silicon Labs, spread across various geographical locations, focuses on enhancing customer support and experience with Silicon Labs IoT products. These IoT products support a range of wireless protocols (BLE, Bluetooth Mesh, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, OpenThread, Wi-Sun, Z-Wave, and proprietary protocols) and 32-bit microcontroller (MCU) software essential for building IoT products. The Applications team collaborates closely with engineering teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the product, features, and system functionality, thereby enabling customers by providing technical support tailored to their use cases. Challenges you will solve: Work closely with engineering teams to debug customer-reported issues Replicate customer environments by collaborating with the sales team and field application engineers to support customer needs and troubleshoot problems Design and execute functional, performance, and feature-specific sample applications for Silicon Labs" embedded MCU products Responsibilities: Closely work with customers, providing technical support for their use cases Investigate and comprehend complex new features by studying documentation, discussing with the development team, and designing sample applications Skills Required: Knowledge of and experience working with analog (ADC, comparator, etc.) and digital (timers, PWM, etc.) MCU peripherals Working knowledge of bootloaders Understanding of and experience with communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, etc. Understanding of and experience working with clock management systems and energy management systems Excellent microcontroller debugging skills - Experience with debugging tools, including oscilloscopes, power analyzers, digital logic analyzers, digital multimeters, etc. Exceptional communication skills Preferred Skills: Work experience with Zephyr and FreeRTOS Experience with salesforce, task management, and bug-tracking systems such as Jira Ability to review schematics and layout designs Prior experience with customer support Experience with Python or other scripting languages Education and Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, or related field 3+ years of managerial experience 6+ years of hands-on experience as an embedded SW Developer or customer support engineer Experience in customer support is a plus ,
