Job Description
As a Managed Shared Services Consultant at our organization, you will be a vital part of our Managed Services team that supports customers with subscription services on an ongoing basis. Your role will involve helping customers adopt, expand, optimize, and maintain their use of Zendesk products as their businesses grow and evolve. You will work closely with customers as an extension of their teams, providing expert consultation on design and configuration best practices, as well as hands-on support to bring their vision to life. Your main responsibilities will include configuring Zendesk solutions and advising on configuration best practices for our global portfolio of managed services customers. You will analyze existing configurations, recommend optimizations, explore configuration options to address customer requests, and implement configuration updates in production environments. Additionally, you will collaborate with our team of Managed Services Consultants worldwide to ensure customers derive ongoing value from their services subscription. To excel in this role, you must maintain a high level of product expertise across the Zendesk product line, manage a backlog of work for your customer portfolio, and prioritize tasks effectively. You will guide and educate customers to provide proactive assistance in maintaining and optimizing their Zendesk products, while also offering valuable business consultation. Collaboration with Managed Services Consultants globally will be key in gathering configuration requirements, making recommendations, and prioritizing tasks. As a successful candidate, you should have between 6-12 years of professional consulting or customer success experience, ideally in a customer-facing role. Experience with Zendesk or in the customer experience industry would be advantageous. Proficiency in SQL/Python scripting and familiarity with analytical tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI will be beneficial. Excellent communication skills, technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously are essential for this role. This position requires flexibility to work in shifts and proficiency in verbal communication skills in German, French, or Spanish would be a plus. Please note that physical presence in Karnataka is mandatory for this role.
