Role Overview We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing elevators and escalators to ensure safe and efficient operation. Key Responsibilities Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks and servicing of elevators and escalators. Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to electrical, mechanical, and control systems. Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company standards. Emergency Response: Respond to breakdowns and urgent repair calls to minimize downtime. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, defects, and corrective actions taken. Client Interaction: Work closely with building managers, engineers, and customers to ensure smooth service delivery. Equipment Handling: Operate and maintain tools and diagnostic equipment required for maintenance tasks. Who Should Apply Candidates with prior experience in elevator or escalator maintenance (preferred). Individuals with technical knowledge in electrical, mechanical, or automation systems. Professionals with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Willingness to work at heights and in physically demanding conditions. Preferred Qualifications & Skills Diploma/ITI certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in elevator maintenance, installation, or related technical fields. Knowledge of electrical and mechanical safety standards. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to travel and work at different project sites.
