Job Description

The Maintenance Technician at Pharma Solution in Lexington is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and continuous operations in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will utilize hand tools, power tools, and delicate testing equipment to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment. Your role includes completing basic maintenance procedures with minimal supervision, as well as more complex maintenance tasks with limited oversight. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing maintenance request work orders for regulated and un-regulated systems, performing routine checks and inspection routes, and documenting preventive maintenance and calibration under the GMP guidelines. As a Maintenance Technician, you will also be tasked with equipment activation, scheduling self-performed work, and escorting contractors through the facility for deliveries or inspections. You will play a key role in recommending facility improvements to meet safety guidelines and will be involved in the creation and updating of maintenance procedures to align with best practices. Identifying and ordering spare or replacement parts for equipment, as well as performing general facility repair and maintenance, are also part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this position, you should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, with advanced technical certification being preferred. A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in industrial maintenance supporting a manufacturing facility, particularly in a cGMP related environment, is required. Demonstrated mechanical ability, knowledge of HVAC systems, high purity water systems, clean room technology, electrical/electronic repair, PLC programming, and bioreactors are all advantageous skills for this role. Proficiency in using Excel, Word, and other office systems, as well as the ability to read architectural, mechanical, electrical, and P&ID drawings, are also important competencies. If you are a proactive individual with a strong technical background and the ability to work effectively in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting, we encourage you to apply for the Maintenance Technician position at Pharma Solution in Lexington.,
