Job Title: Maintenance Manager Department: Engineering / Maintenance Location: WIN INDIA EXPORTS Industry: Garment Manufacturing Reports To: Factory/Operations Manager Experience: 8+ years in electrical and general maintenance (preferably in garment/textile industry) Qualification: ITI/Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field NOTE: CANDIDATE NEED TO HAVE B LICENSE Job Summary: WIN INDIA EXPORTS is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee both electrical and general maintenance operations at our garment manufacturing unit. The candidate will serve as the Electrician Head and General Maintenance Head, ensuring all machinery, equipment, and infrastructure are running efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities:Electrical Maintenance: Lead the electrical maintenance team and act as the chief electrician. Inspect, repair, and maintain electrical systems, panels, distribution boards, and machines. Plan and execute preventive and corrective electrical maintenance. Ensure uninterrupted power supply for sewing, washing, cutting, finishing, and other departments. Monitor energy consumption and suggest optimization methods. Maintain safety standards and ensure all electrical installations are compliant with statutory norms. General Maintenance: Oversee maintenance of building infrastructure, plumbing, HVAC systems, generators, and compressors. Monitor the performance of utilities and services such as air compressors, boilers, lighting, etc. Coordinate with vendors and service providers for repairs and AMC contracts. Maintain a logbook and schedule of preventive maintenance tasks for all machines. Supervise daily maintenance work and emergency repairs to minimize downtime. Management and Documentation: Lead, train, and supervise a team of electricians, fitters, and general maintenance staff. Maintain documentation for breakdowns, maintenance schedules, AMC records, and audits. Participate in safety and compliance audits; implement corrective actions as required. Assist in capital planning for new machinery, infrastructure upgrades, or energy-saving projects. Key Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems and industrial machinery. Experience in textile/garment machinery like sewing machines, fusing machines, compressors, etc. Team leadership and resource management. Problem-solving and quick decision-making during breakdowns. Understanding of compliance standards (e.g., EHS, electrical norms). Proficiency in using maintenance management software (if applicable). Preferred Experience: Experience working in a garment or textile factory setup. Exposure to lean maintenance practices and energy-saving initiatives. Work Conditions: Full-time, on-site position.
