You will be responsible for managing the maintenance and troubleshooting of multi-axis machines at a US MNC's plant in Mahape, Navi Mumbai. Your key tasks will include performing preventative maintenance on all machines, updating the PM database with completed work information, and ensuring that maintenance status can be easily identified. You will be focusing on preventive maintenance of multi-axis CNC, VMC, Turnmill, Sliding head, and Swiss type machines used in high precision machining work at the plant. Your role will also involve troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, electronic, or pneumatic malfunctions or failures of production equipment to minimize machine downtime and ensure smooth production processes. You will be expected to recommend new equipment or tools when necessary to enhance maintenance methods and manage critical spares along with essential documentation like manufacturer manuals and machine maintenance files. To excel in this role, you should be a Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineer with experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of machine shops that include CNC, VMC, and PLCs. Knowledge of multi-axis machines like 12 axes Star Machines and experience in Predictive and Preventive Maintenance will be beneficial for this position.
