Job Description

• The candidate should have knowledge of all fitting assembly maintenance of heavy machinery.
• The job is to maintain Industrial Heavy duty machines used in Garment Industries in the field of surat.
• Maintaining & repairing machines
• Mark the shape and dimensions of a part to be machined by studying blueprints and using measuring instruments
• Assemble and fit machined parts using drill holes and tap threads, if necessary, for bolting parts together
• Check tightness of joints and operation of moving parts, and file or chisel parts to make final adjustments if the fit is not perfect
• Clean and lubricate assembled articles
• Manufacture, repair and fault-find hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
• Erect machinery and equipment on site
• Inspect machinery and make any adjustments or repairs needed, by removing any worn or damaged parts to install replacements.
• Run tests to ascertain the functionality and safety of the machines.
• Performing routine maintenance
• Should have knowledge about the mechanical machines usage, hole to tap sizes
• Helpers need to have knowledge in Industrial activity
• Helpers should be willing to adapt for new changes and assist the seniors for day to day activities
• Good knowledge on reading electrical drawings.
• Having knowledge of control and Automation panels
• Performing general electrical maintenance.
• Inspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
• Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
• Inspect and test material and machinery for safety

Desired Candidate Profile

Fitters are required to have ITI mechanical certificate

• Fitters should have knowledge of tapping, drilling, filing, grinding and sanding etc.
• Fitter should have at least 1 year of factory experience.
• Helpers with experience in heavy duty machines are preferred.
• Electricians should have knowledge on assembling & wiring the electrical products and components.
• Willing to travel
• Education: Fitter / ITI / Diploma Electrical
• Should be punctual and disciplined.
• Should have Good command on speaking local language
• Should be a Graduate.
• Should be docile attitude to deal with the seniors
• Candidates should be ready to work on Sundays, nights and holidays if required.
